Lakeita Norman a.k.a Kela Norman has been
designing accessories for six years. While attending
Bauder College in Atlanta, GA for Fashion Design
in 2004, she discovered her true talent for making
accessories. It started as a hobby, but Kela
received so many compliments on the jewelry that
she decided to start selling accessories to her
classmates and instructors. After a car accident,
Kela was unable to complete the Fashion Design
program at Bauder College but she continued her
goal of making her mark in the fashion industry.
Serving as Fashion Editor for H.E.M.P. HOP
magazine she was able to bring to life her vision
and creativity of what fashion should be--ART--!!!
In addition to being fashion editor, Kela also claims
her rights as a producer and TV host for
Makadonia TV production for Atlanta's own
PEOPLE TV and Wardrobe Stylist for Treats for Da
Streets Photography. This provided another outlet
for Kela to share her perspective of fashion with
others. As a wife, mother of four, and a full time
employee, Kela still manages to make accessories
and promote her exclusive line @ Controversy .
Kela brings her eccentric New Orleans flavor to the
earrings, bracelets, and necklaces that she
designs. This is only the beginning for this true
fashion innovator.........
